Lie, Panic, Debate! Trials require lies and logic to guide your classmates to the right conclusion.
In January 2022 we brought Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition to Xbox and Windows 10/11, followed by Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition in May 2022. We’re excited to share that the next chapter begins with Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony which is available now for the first time on both Xbox and Windows 10/11 with Game Pass.
For those who have already played Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, or Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, you know this is something you don’t want to miss.
Even after over 10 years, the charm of the “Danganronpa” series continues to endure, and as with previous Anniversary editions, we’ve added a few extra bonuses to Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. This edition comes with a gallery feature that allows you to view event illustrations, and scenes, and listen to the voiced dialogue. This title also includes the Ultimate Development Plan bonus mode that’s unlocked after clearing the game.
If you haven’t played any of the Danganronpa games yet, here’s the rub.
In Danganronpa, you must use high-speed deductive action to expose a murderer. It all starts when Monokuma, a self-proclaimed headmaster, traps extremely talented high schoolers inside his academy. To escape, Monokuma forces the students to play a killing game and identify the murderer in twisted Class Trials. When a body is discovered, you will investigate, gather evidence, and question your classmates before the turbulent spectacle of a Class Trial.
Set inside the “psycho-cool” environment of the Gifted Inmates Academy, a new cast of 16 characters find themselves kidnapped and imprisoned in a school. Inside, some will kill, some will die, and some will be punished. Investigate twisted murder cases and condemn your new friends to death.
You should also know that you don’t necessarily have to play the games in order. Each game begins at a new location with a new set of students. Of course, having knowledge of prior events does help make the experience more fulfilling. So, if you haven’t played Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition, perhaps it’s time to put your deductive skills to the test.
