From January 15 – 22, 2026 in the Epic Games Store mobile app, you can download Dumb Ways to Die for free on Android worldwide and iOS in the European Union.

Dumb Ways to Die is a collection of more than 80 minigames starring Beans so dumb that it’s your job to keep them from dying in and around a train station.
The game’s creation dates back to a 2012 public service announcement from Metro Trains Melbourne designed to promote train safety. The Beans were the stars—a cast of adorably drawn, sentient dingbats who excel at getting themselves into trouble. The initial video went viral and stands at more than 344 million views on YouTube.
The next year, PlaySide created a game starring those same Beans, and that’s where you come in. In Dumb Ways to Die, it’s your job to help the hopeless Beans—the one with its hair on fire, the self-taught pilot, the one that put the fork in the toaster, and so many more.
The more you play Dumb Ways to Die, the more colorful Beans you unlock. You can even create your own dingbat Bean with the game’s character creator.
