The clock has struck midnight and your adventure awaits with today’s release of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden for Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows PC. Both games support touch control with Xbox Cloud Gaming, helping unlock even more ways to enjoy the game.
From the Midnight Channel to the Dark Hour, two iconic Persona titles return for double the fun! We are thrilled for this release so soon after the incredible launch of Persona 5 Royal (also available on Xbox Game Pass), that truly fulfilled the promise of stealing our hearts this past October.
Now we get to take an emotional journey as we uncover the secrets within the hidden 25th hour in Persona 3 Portable or search for truth to unravel the murder mysteries in the rural town of Inaba in Persona 4 Golden. Or simply do both by picking up the Persona 3 Portable & Persona 4 Golden Bundle.
The first thing you may notice when you power up your game is the upgraded high-definition graphics featuring 60 FPS gameplay. These games have never looked better, and especially noticeable with Persona 3 Portable as it now more closely matches the visual quality of Persona 4 Golden. In addition, both games boast expanded language support with 9 text languages and 2 VO (English/Japanese) language options. And one that I’m happy to share is a convenient new Suspend Save functionality that helps smooth out your overall experience, letting you save where you want.
Many of our fans have found Persona 3 Portable as being the ideal entry point, especially how this game introduced the signature social playstyle and also helped reinvent the Persona series. This thought rings true even more now with the help of the elevated experience on your favorite Microsoft platform.

Persona 3 Portable
If I say there’s an hour “hidden” between one day and the next… would you believe me? This unknown time is the “Dark Hour.” Unfamiliar stillness swallows the city, people turn into eerie coffins, and otherworldly monsters called Shadows swarm. One night, the protagonist is attacked by these Shadows. When all hope seems lost, the power of the heart, their Persona, is awakened.

They say your soulmate will appear if you stare into a television set on a rainy night… This strange rumor slowly spreads through the rural town of Inaba, the protagonist’s new home, just as a chain of mysterious murders begin. As the protagonist and his teammates chase after the truth, they find themselves opening the door to another world.
